Gosport Road runs south-east from the village centre toward Peel Common and onward to Lee-on-the-Solent and Gosport. It is one of the busiest roads through Stubbington and carries commuter traffic heading to and from the Gosport peninsula. The road passes through the village centre, where it meets Stubbington Lane and Bell Lane at the main junction, before heading through more open land past Peel Common. Residential properties line much of its length within the village, with a mixture of older cottages near the centre and more modern homes further out.
