The Village Between Coast and Countryside

Stubbington Lane

Street guide, Stubbington

Stubbington Lane is the main east-west route through the village, running from the junction with Gosport Road in the centre westward toward Hill Head and the coast. It carries a steady flow of traffic and provides access to many of the village's key facilities, including the post office, shops, and Holy Rood Church. The lane transitions from a built-up village road near the centre to a more rural character as it heads west, with hedgerows and open land appearing on its southern side. Several residential side roads branch off along its length. For most practical purposes, Stubbington Lane is the village's spine.
