Sea Lane
Street guide, Stubbington
Sea Lane runs south from Stubbington toward Hill Head and the coast, providing one of the most direct routes from the village to the sea. The name reflects its function as the traditional route from the inland settlement to the coastal shore. Residential properties line both sides, with a mixture of bungalows and houses that become increasingly coastal in character as the lane approaches Hill Head. On a clear day, glimpses of the Solent are visible from the southern end. Sea Lane is popular with walkers heading for the beach and with cyclists using the quiet route to reach the coast without using busier main roads.
